The Single-Use Plastics Directive aims to reduce the environmental impact of certain plastic products. Producers are to be held responsible for making a significant contribution to preventing the careless disposal of their products in the environment by ensuring that their products are more environmentally friendly.

Cécile Gainche, Team lead Sales International at Landbell Germany, has ten years of expertise in the field of extended producer responsibility (EPR) and packaging compliance. In her previous roles at Landbell, she was involved in researching and analysing packaging requirements in the EU. Since 2018, she has been active in sales and has managed the international sales department in charge of companies not established in Germany having packaging obligations.
Dr. Johannes Justus Brinkschmidt advises on corporate law, in particular stock corporation law, and on transactions. He is also active in the area of the "circular economy" and advises companies on the development and implementation of new business models such as "closed loop" solutions. Dr Brinkschmidt studied in Tübingen, Hamburg and Kiel and wrote his dissertation on a topic related to stock corporation law. He has been with HUTH DIETRICH HAHN since 1991.
