EUDR Webinar – Transmission of Relevant Data to Customers

As part of the webinar held on September 16, 2025, key aspects of the EUDR regulation were addressed – including affected goods and supplier data requirements, as well as the purpose and content of onboarding questionnaires within the Osapiens system.

Additionally, potential support from Markant was discussed, and participants' questions were answered.

Brief Summary of the EUDR Webinar on September 16, 2025

Overview and Introduction to the EUDR Regulation:

Lukas Herrmann (Markant) explained the fundamentals of the EUDR regulation, including its effective date, affected companies and products, and referred to relevant documentation and authorities such as the BLE. The agenda previously sent to all participants was reviewed. He emphasized that the event was for informational purposes only and did not constitute legal advice. It was also highlighted that the webinar was conducted in accordance with Markant’s compliance rules.

Data Transmission and Transfer Channels in the EUDR Context:

Lukas Herrmann (Markant) and Kevin Stauder (Osapiens) presented various methods for transmitting EUDR-relevant data to customers, including the Osapiens Supplier Portal. Regarding transmission via EDI, it was noted that individual coordination between suppliers and customers is required, and no universal solution exists.

Presentation and Functionality of the Osapiens Supplier Portal:

Kevin Stauder (Osapiens) introduced the Osapiens Supplier Portal, explained the registration process, and highlighted key features such as questionnaires, product and batch management, geolocation data, and integration via API interfaces.

 

Questions and Answers on EUDR and Osapiens:

Lukas Herrmann (Markant) and Kevin Stauder (Osapiens) answered numerous questions from the chat, including those related to product classification, data transmission, reference and verification numbers, geolocation data, API interfaces, and access rights within the supplier portal.
 

Support Offers and Follow-Up:

Lukas Herrmann (Markant) informed participants about the possibility of scheduling individual consultation appointments via a Bookings link and pointed out that the webinar recording would be made available for follow-up purposes.
